Junior Baseball Volunteers Needed and Lost Ball Glove

Good Morning:

We are still looking for more volunteers for the Junior Baseball. Summer is half over and the last two weeks of August (August 18-22 and August 25-29) still require a volunteer to help out!! If we don't have anybody to help out then the equipment stays locked in the container and the kids can't enjoy baseball. Team up with a neighbour to split the week. This is a highlight of many children's stay at the beach. Let's not disappoint them. To those who have not volunteered before, I send out a single page with some tips and tricks you can use as guidance. Please contact me at the phone numbers or emails listed below. The activity takes place from 9.30 am to 10.30 am Monday through Friday every week during July and August. The ball diamond is located next to the Cameron Grove tennis courts behind Cottage 125. To join in and play, come any day of the week before 9.30 am and bring a glove. To volunteer for coaching for a week contact me at one of the following numbers or emails: Home: 905-471-4247 Cottage: 519-395-3660 Cell: 905-867-2643 Email: or Again, thank you for those who have volunteered in the last few years and we look forward to completing another successful year of weekly softball for our 5-12 year olds. Good Morning: A ball glove was left behind after the North/South Baseball game on Sunday. When I returned it was not there. Two other gloves that were left behind are with the baseball equipment but neither one of them was mine. My glove is a Worth, tan in colour and there is a red circle patch at the base of the outside of the thumb. Please double check your baseball glove and make sure the one you took home is yours and not mine. If you find it let me know by emailing me at or dropping it off at Cottage 104.
